Napa, CA September 5, 2006 — Erica Hiller Harrop recently announced the launch of her new company, Global Package LLC, which provides high-end packaging options—including bottles, cork stoppers, corrugated containers, and creative services for the wine and spirits industry. Harrop has worked for more than 25 years on the production and supply side of the industry, earning the respect and trust of many industry leaders. An enologist by training, she brings a unique skill set to projects, including international connections with leading suppliers from around the world.

"I believe my knowledge of and connections in the import side of the business will add tremendous value to the brands and bottom lines of wine and spirits companies," says Harrop.

Prior to starting Global Package LLC, Harrop held management positions in major European packaging companies, such as Demptos Glass.

More recently, she spearheaded the opening and oversaw the growth of the Saverglass U.S. headquarters over the past 11 years.

Located in the Napa Valley since 1984, Harrop has extensive knowledge of all aspects of wine and spirits packaging, including markets and trends. She welcomes innovative ideas and challenging concepts that forward the industry.
